Thanks to the acquaintance of priest Igor Yaroslavsky, we received information about the needs of internally displaced people in Cherkassy. This area quickly changed from a transit to one of the receivers of a large number of displaced people. The Church of St. Nicholas has become one of the coordination and distribution centers of humanitarian aid.

At the request of the priest, the Women’s Aid International Foundation promptly set up humanitarian centers and aid kits for IDP in Cherkassy:

• The washing machines and boilers for the resettlement center
• The organized delivery of humanitarian aid from distribution centers
• The raw materials for the preparation of canned meat for IDPs
• The Easter cakes to celebrate Great Easter
