In October, the training at the “School for Social Workers” began. The first group completed a 30-hour course.
During the training, participants studied:
- Fundamentals of Social Work: the basic principles and methods used in the field of social assistance and support.
- Ethical Principles of Social Work: education on ethical norms that define the ethics and responsibility in communication and aiding individuals.
- Psychological Aspects of Aging: exploration of psychological characteristics and needs of the elderly.
- Physiological Changes in the Body in Old Age: understanding the physiological aspects of changes occurring in the human body during old age.
- Common Diseases in the Elderly: studying typical illnesses and their manifestations in older people.
- Basics of Care for Bedridden and Less Mobile Individuals: learning the fundamental principles and skills for caring for individuals with mobility limitations.
- Specifics of Communication with the Elderly: understanding communication peculiarities with older individuals and the ability to establish empathic connections.
- Resolving Conflict Situations in Communication: skills in conflict resolution and the importance of a constructive approach in interactions with people.
- Building Successful Communication: developing skills in effective and open communication to support positive relationships.
- Prevention of Emotional Burnout: methods and approaches to preserve mental health and prevent burnout in professional activities.
- Resilience to Stress: developing skills and strategies for effectively managing stress in the workplace and personal life.
After successfully completing the training, future social workers received certificates of course completion.
